BoatRun — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 August 2026

BoatRun is a set of personal rowing performance tools (Metrics, Analyser, Coach). This page explains what data BoatRun collects, how it's used, and how to delete it.

What data is collected

Where data is stored

Strava integration

If you choose to connect Strava, BoatRun requests permission to upload activities on your behalf. We use this only to create a Strava activity from a session you choose to export — nothing is uploaded automatically or without your action.

What is never done with your data

Deleting your account

You can delete your BoatRun account and its associated data at any time, directly in the app: open Metrics → Settings → Your Data → Account and tap Delete My Account. You will be asked to confirm twice, and the action cannot be undone.

Deleting your account permanently removes:

Sessions saved locally on your own device are not touched by account deletion — delete those separately from the in-app session log if you want them gone. Purchase and billing records held by Apple or Google are retained by those companies under their own policies and for the period required by law; BoatRun cannot delete them. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel that in the App Store or Google Play subscriptions screen.

If you can no longer sign in, email bigwig.91mash@icloud.com from the address linked to your account and deletion will be carried out manually within 30 days.
